Our August 2019 Safari took us to North Botswana where we really experienced very close encounters with the massive African Elephants at the waterhole.

Their great bulky bodies which could weigh up to seven tons move so silently on their cushioned feet, you don't even hear them approach you.

We were hidden away in an underground bunker with the entrance twenty to thirty meters away with a flight of underground stairs which leads you in a reinforced concrete tunnel to the very edge of the water hole for fantastic close up photo opportunities.
